Every order here is made and shipped by the maker who listed it, so the return policy is theirs and it is printed on the item page before you buy. Read it there — handmade, made-to-order and personalized work often carry different terms, and those differences are real rather than fine print.

If something arrives wrong or damaged

Message the maker first, from your order page. They have the item, the batch and the packing details, and in most cases that is the fastest fix by a wide margin.

If that does not get you anywhere

Tell us. Get in touch with your order number and what happened, and a person reads it. We can reach the maker, and where a payment needs unwinding we can act on it. We are also honest about the limit: this marketplace does not hold a fund that pays out independently of the maker, and a page that told you otherwise would be selling you a comfort we cannot deliver.

Personalized and made-to-order work

A piece made with your words on it usually cannot be resold, and most makers say so in their policy. Check before ordering rather than after — and if the maker got the details wrong, that is on them and they will normally put it right.
