What we will verify, and why no shop carries it yet

The mark cannot be bought, and it cannot be brought over from anywhere else. No amount of history on another marketplace carries it here, because it is earned on real production records against the rules below, which are published in full and are the whole of them. No shop carries it yet. When one does, this page is where you can check what that shop had to show for it.

What a maker has to show

• The work is made by the person or the small team who lists it.
• Production happens in batches, by hand, in a place they can name.
• Photographs are of the actual items, taken by them.
• Someone here has looked, asked questions, and been satisfied by the answers.

What it deliberately does not mean

This is the part most badges leave out, so it goes here in the same size as the rest. The mark is not a quality rating, not a safety certification, not an endorsement of any individual item, and not a promise about delivery. It is one narrow claim about who made the thing and how, added on top of the work rather than in place of it. A maker without the mark is not suspect: it is one thing a shop can show you, never the measure of the shop.

How it can be lost

The same way it is given: by a person looking. A shop that stops making its own work loses the mark, and the change is not quiet — anyone who asks is told when it was granted and when it was withdrawn.
