Opening your shop
Your public shop page: listings, the publish checklist, and orders arriving beside your own.
Your shop is a public page with your listings on it. Buyers browse it, pay on it, and those orders arrive beside the ones you record yourself.
A listing publishes once it has what a buyer needs: at least one photo, at least one option they can put in a basket, and a way it ships. The shop itself needs its own address on the web, an address to ship from, your shipping and returns policies written down, your payments set-up finished, and the seller terms accepted.
Nothing publishes while any of those is missing, and Batchnook names the one that is missing instead of a general error. Each is a link straight to the screen that fixes it.
After you publish, the controls stay yours: pause the whole shop, unpublish a listing, mark something sold out or retired, archive what you are done with. None of them needs a reason.
Sections are your shelves — you name them and order them, and they set what a buyer meets first. Discount codes are optional too. A code that has been used on a paid order can be switched off but never deleted, because the receipts it printed still name it.
