Selling at a fair or a market

Booth is the quick-sale screen for a stall: one thumb, in sunlight, with a queue in front of you. Tap a product to add it at its own price, tap it again for the second unit, and the running total stays in reach at the bottom of the screen. There is nothing to type.

Taking cash? Record the sale and you are done. It lands in Orders like any other, on its own Booth channel. That channel ships with no fees on it, and they are yours to set if your own card reader takes a cut.

Taking a card? Batchnook puts a payment code on the screen for your buyer to scan and pay. Before the code appears, the screen names Batchnook's platform fee as a percent of the order total, and that rate is fixed for that sale.

Card payments need your payments set-up finished first. Until it is, the screen says so and offers cash, rather than showing a code that cannot take money.

Every booth sale joins the rest of your orders, so a market day reaches your reports without a second entry at the end of the night.
